Well good Monday morning to you.  I know many greet the first day of the week with mixed feelings.  Maybe the weekend wasn’t great. Maybe you left some unfinished things on your desk that will greet you on Monday morning.  Maybe big meetings are on your agenda this week.  Maybe you have no idea what will hit you first when you come through the door…or maybe, just maybe, Monday is going to be the start of an incredible week.
 
It’s all about perspective my friend.  Monday will be what you decide it will be.  I hear you saying, you don’t know my boss, you don’t know my team, you don’t know what we are in the middle of.  You are absolutely right.  I don’t know… I have no idea.  But what I do know and believe is that you are an awesome administrative professional.  I believe you sit in the seat you serve in for a reason and a purpose.  I believe you can change the atmosphere just from your mere presence alone.  I believe in you…and the wonderful greatness of you! 
 
So yes, today is Monday…but you are amazing you!  No matter what the day holds, square your feet, center yourself, take a deep breath in, release it and then go conquer the day.  Monday will be what you say it will be and I believe it will be great, productive, enjoyable, pleasantly surprising and better than what you can imagine.  Good Monday morning my friend…indeed that’s what it is!

Hello and welcome to The Administrative Suite.  I looked for a place where administrative professionals could be trained, could be encouraged and inspired.  A place where there was community amongst all administrative professionals.  A place where leaders could go and learn about partnering with their assistants and a place that was safe for assistants to come and be free.  I couldn't find that place, so it was laid on my hear to create it.  That my friend is what you just walked into.  

After over 20 years of administrative experience, I have learned some things along the way that just may help you on your journey.  I've learned the joy and necessity of having friends in this industry and I've learned that you must always be learning...because the one constant is that everything changes.
